"Up to our knees in mud...."
We are holding workshops at our campgrounds located in MOUNDS,OK, to help others learn about building with cob and strawbale.
Our next cob/straw bale workshop is planned for Oct 17th-24th.
This is a 10 day workshop that will cover beginning to end construction of cob/strawbale
cottages which is fairly new concept that I would like to use for their R value of up to
R70 for our sometime frigid climate.
Campgrounds will be provided to all students.
The fee for this course is $800 with a deposit of $250 to be sent to reserve your spot.
This price covers a rustic 20x20 campsite. If you are a family or more than one person just keep in mind the campsite size. There are no additional costs for family or other people as long as you can all use the one site.
This fee is to cover our costs for the foundations and for our instructor.
We will be doing instruction on the old ways of mixing with feet and also the newer way of using a backhoe
and cement mixers so this is a course that is more up to date with technology.
