I just wanted to give everyone a description of all our furry and feathered family members.Here's the run down of our critters.

Our dogs

Lucas- our St. Bernard. He is our guardian dogs for when we are able to get our livestock. I need to make sure today to check his wounds on his neck that received while trying to protect our goats when they got mangled. My big teddy bear!

I am a writer. Really, I am. I am constantly working on articles, stories and web content, even building a couple websites.  I just don't do a good job getting to everything on my list of things to do . I haven't really made this blog a priority. But that's gonna change. I am planning on writing in it daily. We had been using a very scary, rickety porch that was obviously built just to be temporary by the previous owners. A very dear friend of ours, Barbara, had given us some 2 x 6's so we threw them together and built a nice deck that measures about 8'x 8'. We probably should have thought about the low overhanging eave off the front of our house more when we placed it so there isn't a step down from the house. Just watch it, if your tall, when you walk out to the edge...lol
