I just wanted to give everyone a description of all our furry and feathered family members.Here's the run down of our critters.
Our dogs
Lucas- our St. Bernard. He is our guardian dogs for when we are able
to get our livestock. I need to make sure today to check his wounds on
his neck that received while trying to protect our goats when they got
mangled. My big teddy bear!
Bo- our sweetest black lab- He is pretty much here to keep Lucas
company and to hopefully back up Lucas in dealing with security.
Missy- Our Chihuahua/Dachshund mix- my indoor security...lol
Our gorgeous cats
Bonnie- The huntress can even catch birds up in trees. I'm waiting for her to get a squirrel!
Clyde- Our handsome tomcat that just can't get enough attention- except for today since he was a no show when I called him to get his pic. Sorry- I'll get one of him soon. He's a strikingly handsome main coon..
Our adorable kittens
Luna- our good luck black cat. I'm not very superstitious- but I've always heard that it's good luck to own a pure black cat. She is very little and was the runt of her litter.
Monkey- This little guy is so cute! He is called monkey because he has opposable thumbs that he actually uses! I was told that there was a few in his litter that way. I'm going to get him fixed to make sure his obvious inbreed bloodline stops at least with him.
Our Chickens
Sugar- a rooster maybe? Obviously the leader between the two. A little flighty but very sweet one you catch him/her. We purchased when at a feed mill just looking at goats and just happened to look at the chickens and saw this one gett the sh*t kicked out of it by the others! We had to make the rescue!
Cinnamon- the sweetest hen . She was purchased as a friend to sugar. Loves to cuddle and comes running when called.
